How to get Pag-ibig Loyalty Card Plus

Many people have a tendency to disregard Pag-IBIG or the Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) because they believe they will only be able to use it once they are finally ready to purchase a home. You may use this loyalty card to get discounts and points from a variety of businesses, including grocery stores, schools, hospitals, restaurants, and more, just like other loyalty cards. Additionally, you can use it as a cash card to effortlessly obtain the revenues of your Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL), MP2 Savings dividends, and other advantages.

Why would you get a Pag-IBIG loyalty card?

The Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card program was introduced in 2014 as a method for the organization to provide its members more services and rewards. The loyalty card enables the members to use their Pag-IBIG membership on a daily basis even if they are well known for their housing loans and provident savings. Additionally, you can now use it as a cash card to effortlessly get your Pag-IBIG benefits.

How do you get a Pag-IBig Loyalty card?

There are only few requirements to get the Loyalty card. This can be done in the nearest Pag-IBig office in your area. Just bring with you a government issued ID, a photocopy of your ID, cash of Php 125 and fill out the Loyalty Card Plus Application Form

The process is just simple, they will get your biometrics and take a photo. But you have to go in their office as early as possible because they only accommodate limited number of people per branch. In my experience, I have to go as early as 5am because the nearby branch only accepts 100 applicants per day.

You will be able to get the Loyalty card plus on that same day together with the security PIN. You can change the PIN, just look for the ATM of the issuing bank. Mine was issued by AUB (Asia United Bank).

The Pag-IBig Loyalty Card Plus is not just a card, you can also avail perks and discounts on different merchants like Coffee Shops, Fast-food, Hotels, Salon, Supermarket, Hospitals, Schools and a lot more. You can check them here.
