The Cafe in the Sky- Baguio City

This was my second visit to Baguio with friends. This time we got a day tour package, and we were able to visit the famous places in the Summer Capital of the Philippines. Our first destination was The Cafe in the Sky, which is famous for its breathtaking view. We arrived at around 4:00 am, the cafe was still closed, so we waited and saw the beautiful sunrise in Baguio.

The View before Sunrise

The View

The Café is located in Sto. Tomas-Mt. Cabuyo Road, Tuba, Baguio. It is not easy to get here especially for tourists even if you have your own car. In our case, we transferred to another car and paid P50 each to get us into the Café. They waited for us and then drove back to where our van was waiting.

The best time to come here is before sunrise and sunset so you can see and appreciate the view of this place.

Some say a couple will break up if they go to Baguio. I wonder if the owners of these locks were still together.

The Food

For breakfast, I ordered a breakfast meal and a cup of coffee. To be honest, their price is expensive compared to other known food chains. Aside from that, their service is not that good. That day, many tourists came and their staff were only a few. It took time for them to prepare the orders, and we're starving. It would be better if they hired additional staff since it was the weekend and many tourists were expected to arrive.

Mang Inasal is much better to be honest...

Personally, I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a good food. There is no doubt that the location is good in sight, but aside from that nothing more.  I hope they can improve the service so that tourists will have a much better experience.
